Every year, people congregate at Pardee Seawall Park to watch West Haven's fireworks. Several shoreline towns hold shows at this time, while two Morris Cove restaurants put on their own displays. Meanwhile, along the grass strip, enthusiastic amateurs demonstrate their pyrotechnic prowess. You are surrounded by fireworks as you face the water.

We'll start cooking around 6:30. It is a POTLUCK, but please do not worry if any circumstance prevents you from bringing food; there is always plenty! Please try to arrive no later than 7:30 if you plan to park. The streets get clogged with traffic, and the park fills with people and animals.

The West Haven fireworks are scheduled to start going off at 9:00 PM.

If you have folding chairs that are easy to transport, you might want to bring one or two.   Thanks!
Kids and animals are welcome, but we'll be busy, so you're responsible for whomever you bring.

As far as we know, a grand time has always been had by all, and we sincerely hope to see YOU this year!
